Most Saturdays, half the cars leaving Rancho Solano Parkway turn left onto Suisun Valley Road and keep driving. Past the vineyards. Past the olive mill. Onto I-80, then Highway 29, then a two-hour round trip and a $45 tasting flight in Yountville.
The other half never leave the neighborhood at all. Both groups are missing the same thing: a summer weekend that starts at the clubhouse a mile from the driveway and ends before the sun clears the coastal range.
